Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 September 2026

1. Who we are

Matched Betting Empire is run by Match Empire Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16865180), trading as Matched Betting Empire. When you subscribe, your contract is with Match Empire Limited. You can reach us at support@matchempire.uk.

By using this website, joining our Discord server or taking out a membership, you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over to use the service.

2. What we provide

We provide education, information and tools for matched betting: guides, calculators, live alerts, a Discord community, member tools and support. We are not a bookmaker or betting exchange, we do not take bets or handle betting funds, and nothing we publish is financial advice. Every betting decision, and every bet, is yours.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your Discord account. Keep it secure, anything done through it counts as done by you.
• A membership is for one person. Sharing your account, alerts or member content with non-members is not allowed.
• Give us accurate details at checkout and keep them up to date.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans and prices are shown at checkout. Currently: Standard at £20/month with a 7 day free trial. Other plans (such as 2Ups) may be offered from time to time; their price and terms are shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; some longstanding members are billed through Whop instead.
• You can cancel any time from the Manage subscription page in the members area. Cancelling stops the next payment and your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, we will email you and retry your card over the following days. Your access continues for 3 days after the failed payment; if it still has not gone through by then, access is paused until it does. If the payment cannot be collected within about a week, the subscription is cancelled. Updating your card on the Manage subscription page restores access automatically.
• If we change a price we will give you at least 14 days' notice by email or Discord, and the new price only applies from your next renewal. If you don't want to pay it, cancel before then.

5. Free trial

The Standard trial gives full access for 7 days. Your first payment is taken automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. One trial per person.

6. Cancelling and refunds

Because this is a digital service, you get full access the moment you subscribe. By subscribing you ask us to start the service immediately. You can still cancel within the statutory 14 day cooling-off period, but because the service has already started at your request, we may deduct an amount for the part of the service provided up to the point you cancel. For digital content you have already accessed, the cooling-off right does not apply.

As standard we do not refund payments already taken, cancelling simply stops future ones. That said, if something has gone wrong or you think your situation deserves one, email support@matchempire.uk, we consider refunds case by case and we are reasonable people. None of this affects your statutory rights, including the right to a service performed with reasonable care and skill.

7. The rules

To keep the service worth paying for, you agree not to:

• share, forward, screenshot or resell alerts, member content or tools outside your own use;
• scrape, copy or republish our content or data;
• use the service for anything unlawful, or in breach of a bookmaker's or exchange's terms in a way that involves fraud (such as multi-accounting under false identities);
• abuse other members or staff, or break the Discord server rules posted in the server.

If you break these rules we can suspend or end your membership. If we end it for a serious breach, we do not refund the current period.

8. Betting risk, read this bit

• Bookmakers can restrict or close accounts, change or withdraw promotions, and void bets. That is between you and them.
• Odds move. A calculation is only right for the odds you entered, always check the numbers in your betting slips before placing anything.
• Our calculators and tools are provided as helpful aids. You are responsible for verifying any figure before you stake money on it.
• Never bet money you cannot afford to lose. If gambling stops being maths and starts being a problem, stop, and see BeGambleAware, GamStop and GamCare.

9. Our content

The guides, alerts, tools, branding and everything else we publish belong to Match Empire Limited or our licensors. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own matched betting, nothing more.

10. Third parties

Bookmakers, exchanges, Discord, Stripe and Whop are separate businesses with their own terms. We are not responsible for their services, their decisions about your accounts, or their availability. A link from us is not an endorsement.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot exclude by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Beyond that:

• we are not liable for betting losses, lost profits or lost opportunities, including where you acted on our information, alerts or calculations;
• we are not liable for bookmaker or exchange decisions, or for outages of third party services;
• our total liability to you for everything arising in any 12 month period is capped at the subscription fees you paid us in that period.

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but like any live service we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

12. Ending the service

You can cancel whenever you like (section 6). We can suspend or end memberships that break these terms (section 7). If we ever permanently close the service, we will refund the unused part of any period you have already paid for.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For significant changes we will give members notice by email or Discord before they take effect. Carrying on using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

14. The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the protection of your local consumer law and courts. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms, your membership or anything else: support@matchempire.uk, or ask in the Discord.
