Betfred Bet Builder+ Selection Guide

Betfred’s Bet Builder+ boost has one quirk that catches people out: the boost is applied after the bet settles, not shown upfront. The site displays the unboosted price, so you have to work out the true boosted odds yourself before you can lay the bet properly.

Get the formula right and the rest plays like any bet builder boost, with a minimum of 3 selections per build.

Working out the boosted price

(Odds − 1) × Boost % + Odds = Boosted odds

Example: a 1-1 build at 7.0 with a 50% boost:

(7.0 − 1) × 0.5 + 7.0 = 3.0 + 7.0 = 10.0 boosted odds

That 10.0, not the displayed 7.0, is what goes into the calculator as your back odds. Skip this step and you’ll size your lay against the wrong price, turning a strong underlay into a mispriced mess. Run the boosted number through the match betting calculator in underlay mode.

Option 1: straight correct scores

The everyday builds, combine winner/draw and goal legs into one exact score, lay that score on the exchange:

• 2-1 and 3-2 - home-win staples with BTTS Yes
• 1-0 - winner + clean sheet legs
• 1-1 and 2-2 - draw builds; often the best boost value on the slate

Three legs meets the minimum: e.g. winner (or draw) + team goals + BTTS.

Option 2: multi-lay clean sheets (BTTS-No combos)

Build around BTTS No and a winner, covering the clean-sheet family, 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 in one build. Back the boosted price, then lay each covered scoreline with the multi-lay calculator. Clean-sheet multi-lays are dependable because the three lays concentrate on well-traded correct-score markets.

Option 3: multi-lay BTTS combos
